For example : "Our colour brand doesn't support Colourstart" - Manufacturers can reasonably be expected to recommend their own methods of testing for their products however it does not mean you are limited to these methods.
Salons remain responsible for choosing the screening process that works best for their team, clients and business. The choice remains with you.
"My Colour is PPD Free so i don't need it." - Oxidative Hair Colours contain chemicals similar to PPD and these are known to readily cross-react. . Someone with an allergy to PPD shoudl not use hair colours that require a patch test even if the colour contains PTD, ME+ or 'Allergen of the Year 2025' - PTDS.
